John Pinner receiving an award in October of
1979 |
|
Over the
years, the Pinner team's consistently superior
performance has gone neither unnoticed nor unclaimed
by its peers in the construction industry.
Excellence in
the public sector, for example, is evident by numerous
awards from the Public Works Council of the Building
Industry Association. These include Builder of the Year
awards in 1973, 1978, and 1980, and by Outstanding
Leadership Awards to Jack Pinner in 1975 and to John
Pinner for three years in a row--1977, 1978, and 1979.
Superior
public service in the 1990's is reflected in awards from
the State Compensation Insurance Fund for Accident-free
workman's compensation & safety records and in honors
from the California Association of Minority Americans
for spirited support of minority subcontractors.
For
professional excellence, there is the Outstanding
Achievement and Certificate of Merit awards from the
Southern California Chapter of the American Institute of
Architects.
