the Bannings Landing Community Center using a Design-Build
approach. On this project, a historical waterfront and
wharf area was turned into a newly renovated, administrative
& community center building, which includes multi-purpose
rooms, classrooms, art center and theatre. |

Pinner Construction’s approach to Design-Build projects is
known as “Single Source Responsibility” as opposed to joint
venture. Our approach allows us to have complete control
of the project starting in the selection phase of design
consultants and subcontractors. We feel it is also
beneficial to owners because they only have to communicate
with one entity regardless of how many consultants or
subcontractors are affected. By using design consultants
in lieu of in-house designers, Pinner is able to take on a
broad scope of Design-Build projects. Our vast construction

consultants offers an owner a well versed and cost effective
